Updates

Phew!  Isn’t coming home from a trip a lot of work?

I swear that I didn’t sit down at all yesterday- quite a feat when you consider that I had a Joseph-sized-growth on my leg.

And, when I finally did sit down…well…it is hard to blog one-handed while holding an ice cream sandwich.  A girl has got to have her priorities.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, let me give you a run-down on the high-points and low-points of the trip.  You decide which is which:

- Getting to see Aunts, Uncles, Cousins who I hadn’t seen in YEARS.  Up to 12 years, in some cases!

- Catching up on what happened over 11 years.  Seriously, where do you begin?

I started my period, got boobs, was really nerdy, got a little cooler, played in band, had crushes, met Brian, dated Brian, went to college, dropped out and came home, broke up with Brian, dated other guys, got back with Brian, married Brian, moved to Seattle, moved to Boise, bought a house, and reproduced.  Phew.

Hard to sum up.

- Watching my Grandma enjoy all of her family, together again, on her 80th Birthday.

- Joseph’s messed up sleep schedule.  Children’s Zyrtec saved my life on many occasions.

- Joseph falling down my in-laws’ stairs.  Arms flailing, crying as he fell.  He is fine now, don’t worry.

- Enjoying Oregon’s beautiful spring colors.

- Watching Joseph discover the grossness of wet grass, moss, etc.  My little Idahoan…

- Catching up with friends, in-laws, siblings, etc.

- Coming home to my quiet house.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I will post some more pictures as soon as my sister stops being so lazy and emails them to me.

She said something about having SIX KIDS, blah, blah, blah.

Here are a few more that she took of Joseph:

I love how soft his hair and cheeks look.  It makes him look a teensy weensie bit like he’s still a baby.

Sounds like it was a great trip. Glad to here Joseph is ok after that stair fall. Nothing scares me more than stairs and little kids.
