I have been paying the Idaho Power bill, with a check that has my name on it, for 2 years now.
AND I am the one who set up the account and spelled out my name.
They must not read my blog.
I also have the spelling problems. My name is Aimee but people often spell it AMY. I don't mind so much anymore, but I bought an HP printer. And they have my name as Emi! How can you get that out of my name? Must have been that Customer Service rep from India! :)
I have the same problem. People either spell it with 1 R or they spell it with a Y. But it's 2 R's and an I. Which is why it's easier to be just Ter. ;) My husband has a similar problem. His name is the same as your husband's except he spells it with a Y.
Things like that happen to us all the time - imagine if you had different last names?!? That's what we struggle with. Yesterday a bill arrived addressed to "Jenn Meyer" - go figure!
Yeah, I'm with you on that one.
Poor Hailey, I think this is what she is going to have to deal with for the rest of her life. I'm a nice parent.
I have an account that still uses my maiden name even though at the same place I have other accounts that use my married name and they all tie together it still comes in the mail with my maiden name. I get so mad and have asked time and again to have it fixed they just can't seem to get it right.
I love to go to starbucks and tell them my name is Caitlin and see if they bother trying to figure out how to spell it, or if they'll ask.
