I was nervous, but so glad to have your Daddy there.
The epidural was lovely!!
My sisters were with me for moral support / picture taking.
(eating pizza in the bathroom so that I couldn't smell it! I was hungry/nauseated.)
You came into this world, Joseph, and I got to touch you for the first time.
You took your first breath.
Your Daddy and I couldn't stop looking at you.
You were so awake and alert, looking right into my eyes.
Your Grandmas were so excited to meet you!
The Doctor was surprised by how BIG you were at only 39 weeks!
(I told her so...)
You made us into a family...

GREAT Blog entry Caitlin! What a wonderful adventure that day was and what an awesome PRIZE at 9:07! I hadn't heard that little "first cry" video since last year and it was SO special to me too - he made me a GrandMo! Looks like a fun-filled 1st birthday for all and thank you for sharing!
The first cry video was VERY touching. Some cool photos - I like the one of Joseph on the scale. Cool idea! And you look great after just having a baby!
