One Year Ago Today…

joseph 003

I was great with child.

I discovered some stretch marks (the day before my induction?!  Come on, Joseph…)

My bags were packed.

Notes were left for my Mama and Maureen.

My sisters were on their way over.

I was sooooo nervous,

excited,

and unsure of what was to come.

All I knew was that the big, big baby inside me was needing to find a way OUT tomorrow, one way or another.

That’s scary for anyone.

I blinked, and here I am, baking some Rainbow Chip cupcakes for my baby's birthday tomorrow.

Blowing up balloons.

Tucking him into bed.

Kissing him.

One year ago today, I had no idea what was in store for me, or how much my life was going to change tomorrow.

As miraculous as "tomorrow" was, I am glad I am on the other side.

Wowza!

Be prepared for some, hopefully not to emotional, "One Year Ago" recaps over the next few weeks!

And no, you are not imagining things, I do still wear those spandex.

I am so thankful for Josephs momma who has taken the best care a little boy could hope for the last year AND nine months! Love you Caitlin!

Looking at the photos, you make pregnancy look flattering!!! You looked simply gorgeous.

I just had Alex take some pictures of my "scary" pregnant belly and I am wearing the SAME shirt!! however, being that this is #6, the spandex is no longer an option....... I think I may have you beat, or at least tied.......... I will send them over later.....
