Stripes and Polka Dots

My little love muffin was a vision in stripes this morning as he lounged on the couch.

(The tongue-sticking-out-thing is his new look since teething began.  Not so great for pictures.)

Where, you ask, are the polka dots?

FULL BODY RASH.

(which is almost impossible to get a picture of…)

The Doctor says that it is either

a) And most likely: A virus side-effect (baby measles maybe?)

b) A sign that we are 2/2 kids on the penicillin allergy (he was on it for an ear infection)

I am voting for A since the reaction looks different to me…

Poor little guy!

So, that’s what we are up to today!

And trying to decide if being out of milk warrants a trip out during our Severe Winds Advisory…

Love that last picture Caitlin. My babies would get similar rashes too. They would often just disappear on their own. I don't know why they would pop up. He's a cutie.

Poor little man :( Maybe a baking soda bath would help soothe it? And if you end up going out and getting milk, you can add some of that too!

Yikes, definitely looks like quite a rash. Poor little guy! Still cheerful, no matter what, though. What a great baby!

looks like you're gonna be having fun chasing this one around too. Sorry to hear about the rash, hopefully it's not an allergy.

Yikes!! That looks awful .. but he seems to be pretty happy regardless. Good luck getting rid of it.

Sorry Sweet Baby! It does look way better than Josephs when he had the penicillin reaction...let's hope for the best!

Bummer. That definitely sounds like no fun. If it makes you feel any better, we had our worst night ever last night - no sleep for any of us due to Bebe's Sister's crying from teething. SO not fun. Has the amber necklace worked at all?

That last photo is great. And it really shows that is is nearly as big as you!

Here's hoping the next few days things get better. I really hope it's not a PCN allergy but I am kind of leaning that direction but here's hoping I'm wrong.

First of all, love the tongue!

Second, poor guy. That doesn't look like fun :(
