It will still be there when I wake up

Today I am forsaking my After-Fred-Meyer-Lunch-with-Joseph-and-Noodle-Making mess

IMG_1782

To take a nap snuggled up with my baby.

Because, in 5 years, I won’t regret not cleaning up the mess.

(And yes, I did say “noodle-making.”  As in I am making my own homemade noodles for my own homemade chicken noodle soup.  It’s my first time, so we’ll see.  In the meantime I feel extremely homemaker-ish!)

I need to remind myself to do this more often. I can't wait to hear how the noodle making went. You never said how the spaghetti squash was.

ooh I'm curious about the noodle making results.

Re: comment above, how did you prepare your Spaghetti Squash? I have a really good recipe for Spaghetti Squash.

The boyfriend loves to make his own noodles...they are really good too! Though he's only done it once in the 3 years we've been together he always talks about doing it lol.

Good for you for taking your nap and snuggling up with the babes...you so deserve it!

Noodle making sounds interesting. You're right to just relax. Take it from me...once the kids get bigger. It's almost impossible to keep on top of every mess :)

Home made noodles sound yummy! Don't feel bad about the kitchen. It isn't going anywhere.

You should see mine. Sick all week and while my husband is a great babysitter, he sucks at keeping house. I have done dishes twice while sick and their is still a big pile in the sink that I am thinking about tackling but really don't care about them right now. Happy Friday!

Never feel bad taking a nap with your baby instead of cleaning a mess.

And what the heck is wrong with you ... making homemade noodles!!??? : )
