Halfway Point

Monday marked the halfway point in my pregnancy- 20 weeks!

Here is the belly shot that you have all been waiting for

Oh, HELLO BABY!

And now, side-by-side with 15 weeks.

15 weeks                                  20 weeks

I wish that I could say that I am wearing the exact same outfit on PURPOSE… but, sadly, I just happen to wear this outfit quite often.  Maternity clothes are slim pickings around here- but I’m holding out until colder weather to buy new ones!!

.

I was thinking last night, while brushing my teeth, that I can really hardly believe that I am halfway through.

I love being pregnant, and it seems like the time has just flown!

And, then I remembered.

THIS half of the pregnancy involves LABOR!! and CHILDBIRTH!!

WAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!

.

But, then I remembered something else.

It also involves this:

joseph 008

(Joseph, 12 hours old.)

Bring it on!!

You look great and it is SO good to focus on that beautiful baby at the end of the day! He will be totally worth it - especially with that godsend of an epidural!

The end part is for sure the best part to all the labor and pains, so easily forgotten.

I don't know if you have a Target around but I found great deals on maternity clothes on the clearance racks all the time. I actually had a great variety of clothes by the end of my maternity. Nothing like $5 shirts and $10 jeans.

I guess as I get older I really don't care where I buy my clothes.

Can you show us 20 weeks with Joseph? I think you look great this time around, and was just wondering how it compared to that "first" experience with him. I can't believe you are halfway there!!

You look wonderful! I wanted to let you know that I have somehow deleted my google account which now doesn't let me log onto my blog so I have had to change my blog URL. It is now:
