Can we all just pretend that Halloween was just this past weekend, so that I can feel like a better mom for not getting these up sooner? Excellent.
We went to the pumpkin patch three times this year. The first trip was awesome, the second one was pretty good, and the third one was a bit of a bummer (pouring down rain, mud, Joseph throwing tantrums.) But, it was kind of nice to have the bad experience at the end, because none of us were sad to leave the patch for the next year.
Please note that I tried to take the obligatory Pumpkin Patch Picture with the kid holding a pumpkin and sitting in the hay…but he just decided to throw them instead.
(Sooo excited by the tractor!)
(This train ride was SOOO bumpy! I had a lot of contractions afterwards. One of the downsides to having a freakishly tall husband is that he can’t fit into these kind of things)

It's easy to see that Joseph wants to be a Farmer when he grows up. I loved the photos of his revulsion when he saw the pumpkin slime inside once his dad cut it open. (earlier blog)
love how you crossed out "freakishly" lol
Looks like great fun! We'll attempt the pumpkin patch next year.
Your photos are always so wonderful. And I love his little boots!
Great pics! And I don't think you are late getting them up at all.
