An official hiatus

 

 

Hello, my poor neglected blog readers.

I am sorry that I have been so absent lately-

things have been crazy here.

And by “crazy” I mean that Brian and I have discovered the first season of Lost and all else has faded in importance.

And now, in just a few short hours, we are flying out to Oregon AGAIN for my in-laws’ family reunion.  (So glad to be taking Daddy Brian on this trip!  The tax-free Oregon shopping is calling my name…)

So, I am taking an official break to get my self together, get the last of our summer visits out of the way, and I will be back after labor day.

In the meantime, here is my 15 week belly picture to keep you company.

Hello, Everyone!  Yes, I am home and alive and well.  I have a million things to tell you about my trip (well, okay, about 5), but first, a tribute:

4 years ago today, Brian and I were married!

             

4 years, 3 moves, 2 kids (well, 1.25), and a mortgage.  Not bad…

Happy Anniversary,  Brian!  I can’t wait for our date tonight.

And boy, am I glad to be on the other side of my wedding day.  Just looking at those pictures makes my palms sweat.  Let’s not do that again, okay?

Follower of the Month

I just wanted to drop in quickly and tell you all that I am Follower of The Month over at With An Angel On My Shoulder.
There's a little interview and whatnot-
because I know that none of you can get enough of me.

I'm off to get packed for our road trip.

If somewhere between Idaho and Oregon, you see a car go blazing past with lots of little-boy's-crying coming from the back, don't worry.
It's just me, my friend, and our car-hating sons, trying to get to Portland ASAP.
