By the way: The pictures with Isaac in his bear coat were taken at Hammonasset state Park, off of the Long Island sound.
We are in an inlet facing west, which explains why the sun is setting over what may appear to be the ocean. (even though we are on the East Coast.)
The other pictures are at a wharf on the actual ocean.
Ahem, Carry on.

Sometimes,
.
when I’m having a tough week,
.
(soooo cold at the beach!)
.
and I can’t find anything in the grocery store that I recognize,
.
.
and I miss my family
.
.
and my Boise friends so much,
.
I think “WHAT IN THE WORLD AM I DOING HERE?
.
WHAT KIND OF AN ‘ADVENTURE’ IS THIS??!!”
.
And then, I have experiences like last weekend,
.
seeing places that I never thought that I would see.
.
(one of the beaches had shells instead of sand?!!)
.
I think, “Oh yes, now I remember! What a fantastic ADVENTURE this is!”
.
And I am proud of us.
.
.
And I am glad.

I am SO PROUD of you, too! You are truly leading your family on these adventures and you're doing a great job, Caitlin! Way to mix the work with the play and keep taking those pictures so you can look back and get motivated at those times when you will inevitably wonder "WHY?"
:)
(spaceless,still!)
I am also proud of you, too. But selfishly sad that you're not here. But I'll like vicariously through you!
Have a great trip this weekend. More photos!
You are on a grand adventure and I'm proud of you too. It was HUGE what you did. And I'm in love with the photo of Isaac being pulled back from the water.
A beach full of shells?!!! Crazy! What a cool thing to see.
Do you just feel like you're on vacation all the time? Does it feel like home at all yet? Those beaches are so beautiful! The one with all the shells? To die for!
