Things of note:
- It is pearl barley.
- Isaac is dumping said barley on the floor in almost every.single.picture.
- His pot belly is so delicious that I almost want to go wake him up so that I can bury my face in it!
- When Joseph got into the tub and I exclaimed “What are you doing in the tub?” He responded with “Don’t worry, Mama, I took off my slippers!”
- I have barley stuck to my socks right this very minute.
- Being snowed in for 4 days makes you let your kids do crazy things to pass the time…

how was he able to fit in there! wow.
Once again, another example of how you have SO much more patience than me. I don't know how you do it. It has to be your wonderful sense of humor.
What am I saying? I pulled an all-nighter with the little girl, and we're having a grand time while the boys still sleep.
The challenges motherhood rises one to.
How are you?
love it!!!!! :)
You can tell they had a blast!!!! I need to get me some pearl barley!
You are the BEST MOM EVER, as indicated by the smile on Josephs face, and the discovery Isaac is experiencing! Eventually, you'll get every piece of pearl barley off the ground - probably via your socks!
How did that EVER seem like a good idea? I think you knew the eventual outcome and, like me most of the time, just didn't care. What's a broom for anyway? Glad you're back!
Caitlin, love your sense of humor! I agree that moms pull out all sorts of ideas to survive indoor time with the kids. The boys clearly had a good time. Isaac is looking more and more like Joseph.
The key to this kind of thing is keep a sheet under the bin. Easy clean up and lots of fun for the kids.
